This Privacy Policy applies to Deirdre Lopian Public Relations, LLC (“DLPR”) and both DLPR websites, www.DLPR.co and www.DeirdreLopian.com (“Site”), and any personal information obtained when you call, email, or otherwise communicate with DLPR. By accessing the Site or otherwise interacting with us, you agree to this Privacy Policy on how we use such information, and to whom and under what circumstances we may disclose it. We can modify this Privacy Policy at any time and will post the current version on the Site. We encourage you to periodically review our Privacy Policy to stay informed about how we are using the information we collect.

Privacy Policy

DLPR is committed to protecting the privacy of the users of the DLPR website. The information we collect is used to provide services to our clients and this statement of privacy explains data collection and use in those situations.

Information We Collect When You Visit The Site

As a visitor to this site, you can engage in many activities without providing personal information. DLPR does not require users to complete a registration form to browse our website. You are only required to provide certain personal information to DLPR if you are purchasing a product or service from DLPR, registering on our site, subscribing to a newsletter, filling out a form or attempting to sponsor DLPR or a DLPR event. DLPR does not sell or rent your information for commercial purposes.

Requests: We collect information volunteered by users, including from email addresses from correspondence from inquiries, registrations, surveys, or requests via “Contact DLPR.” We also may collect email addresses of those who communicate with us via email directly.

Embedded content from internal/external social channels and other websites
Content on this site may include embedded videos, images, articles, etc from DLPR’s social channels or a third party. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites/social channels may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Pixel Tags: We also employ a software technology known as a pixel tag or Web beacon. A pixel tag is a line of code that we place on our websites or in emails which allows us to analyze our advertising and the general usage patterns of visitors to our websites. Pixel tags help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content or promotions are effective. Unless you consent, we do not collect personally identifiable information from you using pixel tags. You may not disable pixel tags.

Google Analytics: Our Site uses Google Analytics which is a web analysis service offered by Google, Inc. to help DLPR analyze how users interact with our Site. You can learn more about these products from Google’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. DLPR also makes use of Google AdWords, another offering that uses cookies and remarketing technologies to deliver relevant information and advertisements to users who have previously visited DLPR Site. You may opt out of the use of such web analytic products by visiting Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on offered by Google (as of January 25, 2022).

We use Google Analytics to analyze the use of our Site. We do not transfer personal information to Google Analytics. DLPR may retain the non-identifying information derived from our use of cookies, web beacons, Google Analytics, and other similar technologies for up to twenty-six (26) months.

Social Media Platforms

Our Site permits you to use a third-party social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn. This includes the use of social media plugins such as Facebook/Instagram “Like”, LinkedIn, buttons, etc. When you use these social networking platforms and plugins, your username and password for the available service are collected from you on these services and may be shared with us. We also use the ShareThis plugin to allow you to easily share information from our website on various social networking platforms, email or text messages. You control when you share information from our website using the ShareThis plugin. When you use social networking platforms and plugins, you share your information with them and their privacy policy applies to disclosure of that information. In addition, they may be able to collect information about you, including your activity, or may notify your connections on the social networking platform about your use of the website. Such services may allow your activity to be monitored across multiple websites for the purposes of delivering more targeted advertising. Please note that their privacy policies apply, and we encourage you to read them. We may add new social networking plugins and buttons to our website from time to time.

Other Ways We May Disclose Your Information

We may also disclose information collected from and about you, as follows: (1) to our related companies DLPR and service providers, to perform a business, professional, or technical support function for us; (2) to our marketing partners, advertisers or other third parties, who may contact you regarding the mission and opportunities with DLPR; (3) as necessary if we believe that there has been a violation or of our rights or the rights of any third party; (4) to respond to legal process (such as a search warrant, subpoena or court order) and provide information to law enforcement agencies or in connection with an investigation on matters related to public safety, as permitted by law, or otherwise as required by law; and (5) in the event that DLPR or substantially all of its assets are acquired, your personal information may be one of the transferred assets. When DLPR includes links to other sites, DLPR does not assume any responsibility or liability for any communications or materials available at the sites to which it links, including responsibility or liability for their accuracy. No link on DLPR is a referral or endorsement of either the linked-to entity or any product or service. Third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

If our information practices change at some time in the future, we will post the policy changes to our Site to notify you of these changes and may provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. Security Information

With respect to security: We aim to ensure that our Site and services provided by DLPR protect the personal information that we receive are secure. When we transfer and receive certain types of sensitive information such as financial information, we redirect visitors to a secure server and will notify visitors through a pop-up screen on our Site.
